What we collect, and what we do with it.

If you submit your email address through the form on our site, we receive it. That is the only information the form asks you to enter. The request that delivers it also carries the technical data described below.

Like most websites, our servers and analytics record basic technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived. We use HubSpot for analytics, which sets cookies in your browser to recognize return visits.

Your email address is used to reply to you and to follow up about working together. Submitting it sends you one confirmation email and notifies our team. It also signs you up to receive occasional marketing email from Slugline. You can opt out at any time: marketing email will carry an unsubscribe link, and writing to hello@slugline.ai works today.

Technical and analytics data is used to understand how the site is performing and where visitors come from. IP addresses are held in server memory for up to ten minutes to limit abuse of the form, then discarded. Your submitted email address is never written to a database. It exists in the emails it creates, and it stays there until you ask us to delete it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. Resend sees the addresses we email. HubSpot sees analytics data and the contacts we keep there. Google Tag Manager loads on our pages to manage our tags, which means your browser requests it from Google when you visit. Railway, as our host, sees the traffic that reaches the site, including server logs.

The only cookies on this site belong to HubSpot analytics. They help us count visits and understand traffic. You can block or clear them in your browser settings at any time, and the site works fine without them. Our site does not respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals from your browser.

Write to us at hello@slugline.ai and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. That covers your email address and contact record, with us and with Resend and HubSpot. Server logs and rate limit records are not tied to a name and expire on their own.
